Welcome to this webpage, an archive of NCI’s comic book creations related to Superman & his dealings with folks in the popular PC game The Sims 2. There were 25 issues of the comic strip created, first issued on ModTheSims, a download & research website for The Sims 2 & The Sims 3 related topics. The comic strip began as a recolor of a gaming hobbyist magazine cover seen below:
The comic creation was a success, so much so, that NCI decided to create additional issues, written using the English alphabet, to issue for folks to read. The first English issue of the strip was done in March 17, 2012. It was released as two-page issues to reflect the original intent of the comic of being short stories that can begin & conclude as seen from the magazine recolor. The following entries below are the comic strips with complete pages and original covers, starting with Issue 1 on March 17, 2012 until the final issue on April 20, 2013:
The comic finished its run after a little over a year, with its last issue being number twenty-five. It was a special issue, running at an extraordinary 11 pages, & containing exciting action. After the comic, NCI created an interview in the form of a talk show. The show’s interviewer was Milburn, who asked questions about the comic’s production and any behind-the-scenes content. This Superman Sim, along with several other skins, are probably the earliest Superman fan made uniforms made for The Sims franchise. Here we have the classic uniform as portrayed in The Sims PC game.
